(PLO)- With its poetic and peaceful scenery, Krong Buk Ha dam (Dak Lak) attracts a large number of tourists to check in, explore and watch the sunset.

The Krong Buk Ha reservoir irrigation project is located about 40 km from the center of Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province, in Ea Phe commune, Krong Pac district. Construction began on the project in December 2005. After nearly 8 years of construction, Krong Buk Ha reservoir was completed and officially put into use for production.

This is the largest reservoir in Dak Lak and the second largest in the Central Highlands. Not only serving irrigation purposes, Krong Buk Ha water reservoir also meets the tourism and experience needs of the people.

Mr. Phuong (Ea Kar district, Dak Lak) shared: “I find this place suitable for checking in and taking photos. Everyone can visit this dam to visit and play. Couples should come here to take photos once."

“I stopped at Krong Buk Ha dam to take photos. The space here is very beautiful, the sky is cool and blue, so I took photos with my lover to preserve our beautiful memories" - Ms. Ngan (Ea Kar district, Dak Lak) said.

Along the dam road, overlooking Highway 26, visitors can easily see the solar farm.

For those who love nature, Krong Buk Ha will be an attractive camping location.

This is also the most beautiful place to watch the sunset in Dak Lak.

Every day, Krong Buk Ha dam welcomes hundreds of tourists to check in and hunt for beautiful photos.

Mr. Chu Duc Long (Buon Ho Town, Dak Lak) shared: "I really like the scenery here. People who want to camp or have a picnic should choose the morning time to watch the beautiful sunset. It's okay to play, it's okay to watch the sunset, it's okay to fish.”

As recorded by Ho Chi Minh City Law, many families have brought their children to the dam to play and exercise.

Ms. Thao (Ea Kuang commune, Krong Pac district) said: "In early spring, the weather is cool, so I often jog on this road with my son. Here at dusk, the scenery is very beautiful."

Krong Buk Ha Dam has a storage capacity of nearly 110 million m3 of water, the capacity to irrigate 11,400 hectares of all kinds of crops, and provide domestic water for 72,000 households.

In addition to flood prevention in the downstream area and aquaculture, this water reservoir also improves the environmental landscape for Krong Pac district and part of Ea Kar district.

In the dry season, the Krong Buk Ha project effectively promotes its functions, providing water for thousands of hectares of rice, coffee, and cashew, bringing high economic efficiency. It is also a place to store water to avoid flooding during the rainy season.

In addition, Krong Pac district, Dak Lak province is also a locality with many large lakes, suitable for ecotourism development such as Tan An lake (Phuoc An town), Ea Nhai lake (Ea Knuec commune), Ea Wy lake (Ea Yong commune)…
