Just inaugurated a few days ago, the pedestrian bridge with Japanese architecture with a shape inspired by the waves crossing Nguyen Tat Thanh (Da Nang) has attracted a large number of people and tourists to visit.

The pedestrian bridge across Nguyen Tat Thanh Street (Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City) with an investment of 42 billion VND has just been put into operation after more than a year of construction. The project is called Vietnam - Japan Friendship Bridge, built towards the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The bridge has Japanese architectural style, nearly 13m high, more than 140m long, with a floor area of about 655m2 with a shape inspired by sea waves, creating lightness and harmony with the landscape of the area.

The part leading to the bridge on both sides of the observatory depicts the image of a knot in the Japanese art of knitting, showing the close relationship between the two countries.

Bridge construction materials are mainly steel, paved with stone and tempered glass in the walkway, creating ventilation. The height of the bridge has been carefully calculated and approved by the authorities, ensuring the safety of vehicles on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street.

Below the observatory, there is an elevator so that people with disabilities can get on the bridge easily.

The bridge also creates a highlight for the sea area west of Da Nang city, which is not yet as bustling with tourists as expected, and helps people walk across the street to get down to the beach safely.

After the inauguration, the bridge attracted a lot of people and tourists to visit and take pictures every afternoon.

Many people who came to check-in this new building commented, the bridge is very impressive, has a soft design.

"Standing on the bridge to see the scenery is very beautiful, the check-in view is also good. From here you can have a panoramic view of Da Nang Bay or the beautiful Hai Van mountain", Phuong Anh shared.

Standing from the middle of the bridge, people can see Nguyen Tat Thanh Boulevard, in the distance is Hai Van Mountain.
