(VTC News) - 4 landmarks including the northernmost point of Lung Cu, the westernmost point of A Pa Chai, the easternmost point of Mui Doi, and the southernmost point of Dat Mui Ca Mau are proud and sacred check-in locations.

The North Pole (Lung Cu, Dong Van, Ha Giang)

The most northerly point in Lung Cu, Dong Van, Ha Giang is located at milestone 428, about 4km from the famous Lung Cu flagpole. This is the location determined to be the furthest point north of the country, also known by people as "Seo Lung tip", or "Northern peak". The landmark is located on a small piece of land jutting out towards the romantic Nho Que river with beautiful views of the majestic mountains.

Arriving at the northern tip of Lung Cu, visitors are both overwhelmed with the beautiful natural scenery and at the same time admiring a beautiful corner of the country at the beginning of the Fatherland.

Extreme West (A Pa Chai, Muong Nhe, Dien Bien)

The Western Pole is considered the most difficult milestone to conquer among the four points. Marking the westernmost point of the Fatherland is a three-country border marker with three sides marked with the names Vietnam - Laos - China, each side has the national emblem and the country's name.

To reach the West Pole, visitors must go through a journey with many complex terrains, from driving off-road to climbing mountains and going through forests... When completing the above distance, the destination will appear and bring satisfaction. Absolutely for those who can touch the sacred milestone.

The Easternmost point on the mainland (Mui Doi, Khanh Hoa)

The coordinates furthest east on the mainland are Mui Doi. Coming to the Easternmost point is the journey to welcome the first sunrise of the country. Although not as arduous as conquering the Western pole, the path to reach the milestone of Mui Doi is not simple.

Visitors have to go through a journey of walking in mountainous terrain and sand dunes under the Central Coast sun. After a long, sweaty road, the beautiful seascape at Mui Doi that opens before your eyes will be the reward that makes up for everything.

Southernmost Point (Ca Mau Cape, Ca Mau)

As the end of the country, the southernmost point is located in Dat Mui commune, more than 100km from Ca Mau city center. Although remote, Ca Mau Cape is the place with the easiest distance with a straight paved road to Nam Can town and boarding a canoe to cross the waves to set foot on Dat Mui.
