Ha Giang has many villages that tourists love and choose as destinations on their journey to Dong Van Karst Plateau such as: Lo Lo Chai cultural village, Mong ethnic cultural village, Pa Vi Ha village, Ha Giang village. Nam Dam village culture... However, recently Ha Giang has another location that is also of great interest to tourists after the success of two horror movies "Tet in Hell Village" and "The Eater" Soul", that is Sao Ha village.
Sao Ha village is located in Kho Cho village, Van Chai commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province, according to the Mong pronunciation, it means high valley. The village is located in the middle of a valley, surrounded by forests and mountains on all four sides.

From Highway 4C, you move another 8km to Van Chai Commune People's Committee, then follow a small concrete road another 2km to reach the village. Near the beginning of the village, you move through an old forest with many ancient trees, through the bamboo forest to reach the home of 22 Mong households, all with the surname Vang, living in a village.

Coming here, you can see the houses are all covered with yin and yang tiles clustered together, with the same architectural style of "tuong tuong" house, a traditional house style of the Mong people. All family activities, livestock and poultry raising are inside a row of stone walls about 1.5m high with stones of all shapes skillfully and meticulously stacked on top of each other, even though there are no materials. Adhesive but very sturdy.

Food crops here are mainly corn, buckwheat, fava beans and traditional flax used to weave cloth by the Mong people. The life of the people here is still almost wild and self-sufficient with the agricultural products and livestock that the people create. Especially when coming to Sao Ha, visitors are also welcomed with very genuine, spontaneous and hospitable smiles and affection from the people here.

The most beautiful time to travel to Sao Ha is spring because then the peach trees bloom brilliantly throughout the village, creating a strangely attractive beauty. If it's summer or fall, the clouds flying all over the road will make you forget your intention of returning. In particular, in the winter here it is much colder and harsher, with fog covering the whole day, which is a feeling no different from the "Hell Village" in the movie.
