Khuoi Ky Stone Village: A peaceful village in the border area

The ancient stone village is not only famous for its long history but also impresses with its unique and different architecture. The village is located in Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang, on provincial road 206.

Khuoi Ky village is named after the green stream right at the entrance to the village. The houses are built entirely of stone and roofed with traditional yin-yang tiles.

The village is known as a place to live and is also a land that preserves the culture and spiritual values ​​of the Tay people for many generations.

Khuoi Ky stone village has a total area of ​​about 10,000 m2, with the advantage of a solid mountain back and facing the wide space of Khuoi Ky stream, fresh all year round.

The village has 14 houses all built entirely of stone, creating the peaceful and gentle beauty of the people in the border area.

During the rice harvest season, the golden fields create an extremely beautiful scene.

Looking from above, the peaceful scene of the village seems to be encapsulated.

The walls and walkways are all made from stone. And this is also the main material in people's daily lives. Because in the subconscious of the Tay people, stones are sacred objects, protecting the villagers.

According to the village elders, the village is more than 400 years old, from around 1594 - 1677.

Because of its peaceful features and ancient architecture, this border village always attracts a large number of tourists from everywhere every year.
