(SGTT) - Currently, the cherry apricot gardens in Mang Den town (Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province) have lost their leaves and their flower buds are gradually blooming. It is forecasted that in about 7 to 10 days, cherry blossoms will be bright pink throughout tourist attractions in Mang Den.

Locations in Mang Den with many cherry apricot trees include Mang Den square, under the canopy of pine forest along Highway 24, Pa Sy waterfall campus, Dak Ke lake...

Currently, in Kon Plong district there are more than 260,000 cherry apricot trees, grown mainly in Mang Den town. In the near future, the district plans to plant 1 million cherry apricot trees.

It is known that the district also has a policy of providing tree seedlings for agencies and people to grow themselves to build Mang Den into a "cherry blossom town".

Mang Den is located at an altitude of 1,200m above sea level, with high humidity and cool climate all year round, so this is a favorable condition for cherry blossoms to grow and produce many flowers.

Currently, the cherry blossoms are just budding, but have already covered the street corners and roads in Mang Den town with pink.

The cherry blossom season is also a good time for visitors to see the unique beauty of Mang Den.

Mang Den town is about 60km from Kon Tum city center. Coming to Mang Den, in addition to viewing cherry blossoms, visitors can also experience gong culture, sinus dance...

...and experience culinary culture with typical dishes of the Central Highlands people such as bamboo-tube rice, grilled chicken, wine, wild banana flower salad.
