In the northern region of our country, many trekkers believe that in addition to conquering Fansipan peak, visitors should experience the following trekking routes because of their challenge and majestic scenery.
Bach Moc Luong Tu
The distance from the foot of the mountain to the top of Bach Moc Luong Tu is about 30 km long
Bach Moc Luong Tu, also known as Ky Quan San, is located between the border of Lao Cai and Lai Chau provinces. This location has an altitude of 3,046 m above sea level, among the top 4 highest peaks in Vietnam.
The distance from the foot of the mountain to the top is about 30 km long. Visitors will have to challenge many different terrains such as large wood forests, bamboo forests, bamboo hills or moss-covered cliffs. The most ideal time to conquer Bach Moc Luong Tu is from August to April of the following year.
White Cliff
Camping at White Cliffs.
The 5 km long White Cliff Road starts from Pai Lung commune and ends at Pa Vi commune, Meo Vac district, Ha Giang province, located above Ma Pi Leng pass. Notably, after a tiring walk, visitors can also experience camping overnight at the cliff. The camping site is a field of land leveled with stones. Legend has it that this place was once the resting place of King Meo when passing through Ma Pi Leng pass.

This trekking palace started operating in 2018 and is still quite new to many tourists. Tay Con Linh is a mountain in the west of Ha Giang province, stretching from Hoang Su Phi to Vi Xuyen. Tay Con Linh peak is known as the "roof of the Northeast", with an altitude of 2427 m above sea level.
To conquer this route, visitors must pass through mysterious primeval forests. This place has a very rich and diverse vegetation with many types of tropical trees, towering ancient trees, mixed with many types of herbaceous leaves and reeds, creating a landscape that is both majestic and poetic.
Ta Xua
The "dinosaur spine" road at Ta Xua.
Ta Xua is a long mountain range connecting Son La and Yen Bai provinces. This area is associated with a small path, known as the "dinosaur spine", which is extremely dangerous. This road connects the two highest peaks of the Ta Xua range, can only fit 1 person, and on both sides are deep abysses. That makes visitors feel like they are floating in the sky, covered by a floating "sea of clouds".
Pusilung
Many backpackers cannot overcome the dangerous Pusilung route.
Pusilung is located in Pa Ve Su commune, Muong Te district, Lai Chau province. This mountain is the second highest in Vietnam, only after Fansipan. Located right next to the Vietnam-China border, the terrain here is considered by those who experience it to be extremely complex and has long distances.
With a length of over 60 km, all up and down steep hills, Pusilung can discourage any visitor. This road is so long that many people have to abandon the journey because they are too tired and impatient with the endless slopes. The road to conquer Pusilung is a combination of old forests, dense grass hills, and crossing many large streams throughout the journey.
