Pristine beauty in Thanh Lan island commune (Co To, Quang Ninh)
Co To island district is located in the east of Quang Ninh province, about 60 km northeast of the Gulf of Tonkin. Co To has about 74 large and small islands, including three large islands: Big Co To, Small Co To and Thanh Lan island.
Autumn is one of the two seasons considered the most beautiful when traveling to Co To - a place of pristine nature and fresh air.
According to the Department of Culture, Information and Tourism of Co To district, 7 km from the center of Co To town, Hong Van beach is one of the most beautiful and poetic beaches in the district.
The beach is located in Hong Hai village (Dong Tien commune), separate from the residential area with a long stretch of fine white sand, calm sea, and blue water.
Co To Island and Ca Chep Island are islands that still retain their pristine beauty, surrounded by blue waters.
Seen from afar or from above, this place looks like a green, peaceful island.
Also according to the Co To Department of Culture, Information and Tourism, in 2023, recreational scuba diving and tourist camping will be unique and different tourism products (only available in Thanh Lan island commune) approved by the People's Committee of Co To district. This brought many positive results, the marine environment in the island district improved. Co To district authorities said that from September 15, tourists will have to comply with official regulations on not bringing plastic bags and single-use plastic items to islands in Co To district.
