In the Quang Tri hydroelectric lake area, the image of an entire forest of fragrant maples (also known as sau sau or white jiao huong) with immense red and yellow leaves silhouetted in the clear blue water makes many people surprised by their beauty. rare beauty.

The forest is located in Khe Sanh town, about 70 km from Quang Tri provincial capital. From Khe Sanh town center, visitors can follow Highway 14 to Huong Phung commune, then continue to the hydroelectric lake.

During the change of season, the leaves begin to gradually change from green to yellow, then orange and red, creating a brilliant range of colors, embracing the entire space.

To access the forest, visitors can rent a SUP for 300,000 VND/person/60 minutes and slowly row along the forest, enjoying the fleeting beauty of the changing seasons.

The area around the lake is still quite wild, without many services for tourists, so it is very suitable for those who love quiet, fresh and pristine.
