Ke Ga Lighthouse has many similarities with Co To Lighthouse, famous as a "virtual living" place that you cannot miss, and is also a symbol of this small island. This is the oldest lighthouse in Vietnam because it was built around 1900 by the French colonialists, all materials used were transported from France. Ke Ga Lighthouse has a height of up to 35 meters, designed and built in an octagonal shape. Here, a high-power light bulb is used with a scanning radius of more than 22 nautical miles and a capacity of 2,000w. This is also the guiding eye for ships at sea to move and reach shore safely. This lighthouse is built entirely from marble, meticulously honed and stacked on top of each other, requiring absolutely no mortar and remaining solid for more than 100 years. This type of material helps keep the air in the lighthouse tower cool and comfortable, and under the sunlight, the colors shine brightly, shimmering and extremely outstanding. To reach the top of the tower, you need to go through 183 spiral steps. The adjacent steel steps are slightly uneven, so you need to pay attention to safety when moving. When you reach the top of the lighthouse, you will take in the entire view of nature, the majestic sea and islands, watch the sky so high, and enjoy the wind blowing your hair. The ticket to visit Ke Ga lighthouse is 30,000 thousand VND per person. According to my experience going to Phan Thiet, Ke Ga Cape is a beautiful place to watch the sunset and sunrise. However, to watch the sunrise, you need to camp overnight on the island, because the sun rises very early, around 4:30 you have to wake up to wait for the sun to rise.
