Phu Lang village is located on the banks of Cau River and has many ferry wharves carrying passengers back and forth. The place name Phu Lang dates back to the late Tran dynasty and early Le dynasty. During this period, Phu Lang had 3 villages: Central village, Upper village, Lower village and was known for its traditional pottery.
