Can Gio Sac Forest, also known as Can Gio Forest Park, includes a population of typical flora and fauna species of mangrove areas. Among them, the most prominent are the flock of long-tailed monkeys and many different species of birds and storks. The total area of Can Gio mangrove biosphere reserve is 75,740 hectares. On February 21, 2000, UNESCO recognized this place as a world biosphere reserve. Up to now, Sac Can Gio Forest tourist area has become one of the key national tourist areas, attracting many domestic and foreign tourists to visit.
