Chu Mom Ray National Park is a place of high biodiversity and plays an important role in biodiversity conservation in Indochina. With the conditions of habitat, climate, hydrology, along with the typical forest ecosystem, it has created an ideal environment for the fauna here. According to the results of investigation, assessment of the collected specimens and selective inheritance of research results, so far, the presence of 1,001 animal species belonging to 6 different classes: Mammals, Birds, Cows has been recorded. Amphibian, Amphibian, Fish, Insect. Of which, there are 112 rare and precious species listed in the Vietnam and World Red Book (IUCN) that need to be prioritized for conservation.
