Cam Son Lake has a total water surface area of ​​more than 2.6 thousand hectares with many islands. The lake bed is wide, bordering many localities inside and outside the province. In particular, adjacent to 5 communes and towns of Huu Lung and Chi Lang districts (Lang Son) and 4 communes of Luc Ngan district: Cam Son, Son Hai, Ho Dap, Tan Son. In particular, the lake is surrounded by rolling mountains and shaded by green trees. Residents living near the lake are the Nung and Tay ethnic people. The main means of transport here is motorboats.
