The name Cu Lao Mai Nha comes from the island’s shape, which resembles a roof, with high stacks of rocks protecting the mainland and its inhabitants from large waves and harsh sea storms. For this reason, visitors affectionately call the island "Robinson Island," as only a few families live here along with herds of cows, flocks of chickens, and fishing equipment.

As a deserted island with few inhabitants, visitors often have to prepare their own food. If you have time, try camping amidst this beautiful natural space. There's nothing more wonderful than sitting around a campfire, grilling chicken, cooking warm porridge, and sharing life stories and journeys with each other.
Cu Lao Mai Nha island has two suitable camping areas: the front beach and the back beach. The front beach, while not as beautiful as the back beach, is close to the residents, convenient for moving around, preparing food, and using restrooms. Additionally, the front beach is sheltered from the wind, making it easier to set up camp and build a fire. Conversely, the back beach, with its rugged cliffs and natural rocks, is perfect for photography and fishing, though it is windier and lacks sandy shores.
