Artistic light performance "Brilliant Thang Long" on the night of Tet 30 at West Lake

To welcome the new year Giap Thin 2024, the program "Hanoi Artistic Light Festival - Brilliant Thang Long" will take place on the night of the 30th of Tet in the area of ​​Nguyen Dinh Thi street - Trich Sai street, Tay Ho district.

This will be the performance with the largest number of drones (light projection art using drones) in Southeast Asia to date.

The program is organized by Tay Ho District People's Committee in coordination with Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrovietnam) and Vietnam Public Commercial Joint Stock Bank (PVcomBank).

With the theme "One day of the capital - A thousand years of history", the drone show will be a unique light art work that encapsulates the quintessence of the land of Thang Long, bringing an experience that is both special and unique. meaning for residents and tourists right on New Year's Eve.

From the name Thang Long - symbol of the strength and desire to rise of the Vietnamese people, the performance will bring the story of the sacred dragon converging in the brilliant and heroic capital, shining in the sky of Hanoi. Thousands of years of civilization. In this moment of prosperity and harmony between heaven and earth, this will be a unique cultural and artistic mark to welcome the new year of Giap Thin for all people of the Capital in particular and the whole country in general with faith and hope for development. prosperity of the country.

It is expected that the "Hanoi Artistic Light Festival - Brilliant Thang Long" will start from 11:30 p.m. on February 9, 2024 (ie the night of the 30th of Tet) to 0:15 a.m. on February 10, 2024 (the early morning of the 1st day of Tet). ) in the area of ​​Nguyen Dinh Thi - Trich Sai street (near Van Cao intersection).

The event will take place with 2 parts including: Drone demonstration and high-altitude fireworks display, expected to be broadcast within the framework of a special New Year's Eve videoconference of Vietnam Television (VTV).

To ensure the quality of the program as well as serve tourists and people who come to watch it live, the Organizing Committee will arrange a high-quality sound system and screen around the performance area.
