Ta Dung National Conservation Area (Ta Dung National Park), is one of the famous landscapes in Dak P'lao commune and Dak Som commune, Dak Glong district, Dak Nong province.

Possessing natural scenery that is both wild and poetic, this place is considered a treasure of the Central Highlands in terms of both economics and nature.

Ta Dung National Park is an eco-tourism area with an area of ​​more than 26,000 hectares, forest coverage rate reaches 85%, of which primary forest accounts for more than 48%, and possesses an extremely diverse ecosystem.

The highlight of Ta Dung National Park is Ta Dung lake located on the mountain at an altitude of 1,982m above sea level. This is an artificial freshwater lake, a reservoir for the Dong Nai 3 hydroelectric project built in 2012.

The activity of blocking the hydroelectric flow has created a beautiful wonder with a vast lake of nearly 6,000 hectares, dotted with dozens of islands jutting out on the lake's surface, known as a "miniature version of Ha Long Bay". Highlands.

Among rare species, Ta Dung has 3 endemic mammals of Vietnam: silver-cheeked langur, orange-cheeked gibbon, and black-shanked douc langur.

In particular, Ta Dung is one of three protected areas in Vietnam with Golden Deer (also known as Swamp Deer), an endemic species of Indochina and Thailand. They are in danger of extinction due to reduced habitat and hunting.

Ta Dung National Park is also one of four endemic bird areas in Vietnam, accounting for 1/8 of Vietnam's bird species and one of 222 endemic bird areas in the world.

In the list of 202 bird species, there are 16 species in the Red Book. Typical bird species include pheasants, peacocks, endemic laughing birds and white-crested pheasants.
