The Con Son root field area, located south of the Con Son relic area, in the Tien Son residential area, Cong Hoa ward, Chi Linh city, Hai Duong, is about 20 hectares wide, stretching from the foot of the alternating Ky Lan mountain range. in the canopy of the pine forest stretching out to near Highway 37.

According to research, the root tree is also known as Thanh Hao tree or Kim Sa Tung, with small branches reaching long, needle-shaped leaves, when harvested, used as brooms, sweeping roots.

The roots are harvested once a year, then re-cared for and harvested again in November of the following year. The best season to take photos is when the roots are about to be harvested.

Sharing with reporters, Mr. Nguyen Van Khiem (Cong Hoa ward, Chi Linh city) - a resident who is bidding on a 3-hectare root field out of a total of 15 hectares of roots in Con Son, said that the difference with the tree-root field is The outside roots are his family's root crop area interspersed with the forest, creating an extremely romantic and poetic scene. Therefore, from 2013 until now, Mr. Khiem's ​​family's root crop field has attracted many tourists to visit and take photos on weekends.

Mr. Khiem added that the most beautiful time for the root fields is around the 8th month of the lunar calendar, when the autumn weather has golden sunshine, the trees are also medium height, lush green, and about to be harvested. In previous years, when there were few visitors, Mr. Khiem did not charge a fee. Recently, the large number of tourists coming to take photos has somewhat affected the environmental landscape. The situation of littering and breaking tree roots has occurred, so he has collected a fee to have funds for cleaning up trash and planting new trees. The roots of the places where tourists stood to take photos trampled trees to death. The fee depends on the number of guests. For individual and few customers, he charges 25,000 - 30,000 VND/person.

The poetic scenery of the grass field always attracts many young people to take photos, and couples come to take romantic wedding photos.
