TPO - Although Nguyen Hue flower street will officially open tomorrow, Giap Thin 2024 spring, many people and tourists have come out to watch the three dragon mascots curling up and down. Some tourists even said that going to Nguyen Hue walking street to see Ho Chi Minh City "turn into a dragon".

Nguyen Hue Flower Street welcoming Giap Thin spring 2024 will be a "performance" of three dragons stretching and winding. The three large dragon mascots on the flower street are a combination of dragon characteristics of the Tran, Ly and Nguyen dynasties, bringing the desire to fly high and far.

Although the weather is quite hot and tomorrow, Nguyen Hue flower street will officially open, today there are many people and tourists coming to take photos and admire this monumental project of Ho Chi Minh City for the new year. According to the observations of reporter Tien Phong, foreign tourists passing by here are drawn to the dragons welcoming spring 2024.

Standing and admiring Ho Chi Minh City's monumental flower street project to welcome the Dragon season, some tourists marveled: "It's true that Ho Chi Minh City has transformed into a dragon."

Two dragons at the gate greet "Two Dragons Trieu Lien", with the image of the dragon in motion almost completed. Each mascot has 5 body segments winding along both sides of the flower road, more than 100m long and a head circumference of about 2m hugging along the flower road, creating a majestic and brilliant scene.

The dragon mascot is shaped to be environmentally friendly, as more than 90% of the materials used in the shaped panels are bamboo and rattan and bamboo fan blinds. The dragon's mouth holds a 50cm diameter pearl simulated by opaque mica, with a light inside. The bodies of the two dragons are crisscrossed together to create a beautifully decorated and airy ceiling for segment one.

If you have some photography skills, these dragon eyes will be an impressive backdrop for photos to celebrate spring 2024.

"Dragons are a symbol of luck, eternity, and full of energy... that's why, in addition to going out there to see and take souvenir photos of spring 2024, I also try to choose dragon-shaped backgrounds for myself as a statement." Wishing for good luck, that feng shui style," a tourist shared.

Workers are busy with the final stages when the opening time is only about 24 hours.

The grand scene of "Spring Flower Dragon Boat" covers an area of up to 900m2, promising to give visitors a special experience.

The flying dragon mascot at the ending gate project named "Nhat Dai Thang Long" is also almost completed. According to the design unit, this is a dragon inspired by the Ly Dynasty dragon, with a long, slim and winding body. The dragon is made from an iron frame and nearly 99,000 pieces of steel connected and interwoven to form scales and a dragon body up to 127m long. Thanks to the technique of using this piece of steel, the dragon's body is smooth and soft.

The dragon mascot at the ending gate at Bach Dang wharf was under construction for more than a month. Many people and tourists took advantage of the opportunity to take souvenir photos.

Nguyen Hue Flower Street in Giap Thin Spring 2024 with the theme of Spring of Love, Reunion of Tet will serve the spring travel and enjoyment needs of city residents and tourists from 7:00 p.m. on February 7 to 9:00 p.m. on Valentine's Day, February 14 . Thus, couples can also take advantage of coming here to save romantic moments before the flower street closes.
