Vinh Hy Bay is located in the Northeast of Ninh Thuan province, 40km from Phan Rang city. This place is famous for its winding sea routes, turquoise sea water, and many interesting experiences such as diving to see coral, camping...

Due to convenient transportation, in recent years, Vinh Hy has become a favorite place for backpackers from Ho Chi Minh City and many other central and southern provinces on weekends. With only 2 days off, visitors can experience many interesting activities in Vinh Hy.

Recently, Tai Pham (commonly known as "Tai is here") had a two-day trip to explore Vinh Hy. He shared many impressive images and some places not to be missed here.

Regarding transportation: To be proactive in his time, Mr. Tai takes his own car. Travel time from Ho Chi Minh City to Vinh Hy Bay is about 5 hours and 30 minutes.

Visitors can go to Phan Rang city by bus or train. If you choose to fly, you will fly to Cam Ranh (Khanh Hoa), which is the closest place, 62 km from Phan Rang. From Ho Chi Minh City, there are many night buses running to Phan Rang city, ticket price 180,000 - 300,000 VND/person. You can choose to depart at night and arrive at your hotel in the early morning.

Regarding the schedule, Mr. Tai moved from Ho Chi Minh City on Friday night. Early in the morning, he arrived at Vinh Hy, rested on the spot and had breakfast with fish noodle soup for 30,000 VND. After that, the male tourist booked a canoe service to go to Hon Rua for swimming. "This is the most impressive beach location for me in Vinh Hy," this blogger said.

At noon, Mr. Tai returned to the homestay to have lunch, enjoy local cuisine and rest. At 3:00 p.m., he spent time exploring the coastal road of Binh Tien, viewing the panoramic view of Binh Hung. At 5:00 p.m., the male tourist returned to Vinh Hy center to have dinner with a BBQ party.

On the second day, Mr. Tai booked a canoe tour to explore Yen Cave and Tau Cave. At noon, Mr. Tai returned to the homestay to eat, rest and then return to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way, he visited Dam Nai wind power.

Mr. Tai also suggests to tourists an attractive experience of camping at Bai Thung and Bai Chuoi.

Turtle Island

Hon Rua, also known as Hon Tai, is located in Vinh Hai commune, Ninh Hai district, Ninh Thuan province. This is a small beach in Vinh Hy Bay, ranked as a national scenic spot by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in April 2022, according to the Department of Culture, Sports & Tourism web portal. Ninh Thuan.

This location is located about 15 minutes by canoe from the center of Vinh Hy, possessing wild beauty with white sand beaches, rugged cliffs, and jade-colored sea water. There are no people living here, no electricity, no phone signal or wifi.

Mr. Tai was impressed with the natural swimming pool here, very suitable for a relaxing dip.

The cost to rent a canoe to Hon Rua is 200,000 VND per trip (ticket price is divided according to the number of people). There are scuba diving activities here, but visitors need to pay attention to hiring guides and safety equipment. October-December is the rough sea season, while February-May is the best time to visit Hon Rua.

During this trip, under the guidance of a local friend, Mr. Tai learned that from the direction of Hon Rua, tourists can rent canoes to go towards Binh Hung. On the journey, you will encounter Yen Cave and Tau Cave.

Binh Tien coastal road

The Vinh Hy - Binh Tien coastal road is one of the most beautiful coastal roads in Vietnam with the terrain on one side being the sea and the other side being the majestic Nui Chua range.

According to Mr. Tai, walking along Binh Tien street is something tourists must definitely try. "The winding roads have panoramic views of the small town of Vinh Hy. If you run further, you can see Binh Hung and Bai Chuoi and Bai Thung," the male tourist said.

Dam Nai wind power

The wind power field in Phan Rang attracts many young people to visit and take photos thanks to its picturesque scenery. This area is about a 20-minute drive from the city center. At each time, this place has its own beauty, sometimes green, sometimes golden with the color of ripe rice, sometimes desolate. The ideal time to visit this place is early morning or late afternoon.

Camping at Bai Thung and Bai Chuoi

Mr. Tai suggests that tourists experience camping right on inshore beaches to watch the starry sky, waiting for the sun to rise, rising "from the sea" at dawn. According to the experience of male tourists, Bai Chuoi is more beautiful, cleaner and less rocky but the road is more difficult than Bai Thung.
