Con Chim Mangrove Forest - Thi Nai Lagoon is considered the green lung of Quy Nhon City and the eastern communes of Tuy Phuoc district, Binh Dinh province.

Thi Nai lagoon has an area of ​​5,000 hectares, in the middle of this lagoon there are about 1,000 mangrove forests concentrated in three islands: Con Chim, Con Trang, Con Gia (collectively called Con Chim ecological area).

Con Chim ecological area is currently being planned to exploit eco-tourism combined with preserving and protecting the mangrove ecosystem. People in Con Chim hamlet, Vinh Quang hamlet, Phuoc Son commune participate in implementing forest protection contracts. At the same time, in areas along the lagoon, mudflats, and bare land, local people buy mangrove seedlings and plant them scatteredly, both to preserve the soil and to cultivate green color for the lagoon.
