North Sum slope is a long pass on National Highway 4C, connecting Minh Tan commune (Vinh Xuyen, Ha Giang) with Quyet Tien commune (Quan Ba, Ha Giang). This is the longest slope in the province, stretching 7 km and reaching an altitude of more than 450 M. North Sum broccoli has a historic imprint since the anti -French resistance war, used to be an important communication line, connecting rugged plateau areas and supporting human and material transportation for campaigns. Today, this pass helps improve traffic between communes, creating favorable conditions for the distribution and consumption of agricultural products in remote areas. Not only historical and economic value, North Sum slope is also a famous tourist destination in Ha Giang, attracting a large number of tourists and backpackers to admire the beauty of majestic mountains. From here, visitors can approach many other landscapes such as Heavenly Gate - Quan Ba Mountain, Happiness and many other prominent places of Ha Giang highlands. The special feature that makes the North Sum slope a memorable challenge is that dangerous bends, especially the slope with nine striking bends. When you come here, you will not be overwhelmed by the majestic mountain scenery and the feeling of challenging when you have to overcome the M -shaped bend. This is one of the most difficult roads, but also brings a great sense of success when you continue the journey to the foot of Yen Minh Mountain, proudly standing in the middle of heaven and earth.
