An Nhut countryside market is located on an infield road covered with asphalt. The market has 20 stalls, open from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day, selling rustic dishes with strong local flavors such as: An Nhut rice cakes, khot cakes, rice rolls, balut, fried fish balls, corn, potatoes. grilled with fresh seafood... Outside the road leading to the market, people are instructed to park their cars for free.

Mr. Ho Van Nhat (30 years old, residing in Dong Nai province) said he came to An Nhut rural market because he saw information shared on social networks. On a visit to Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, he decided to experience it with his family.

“I was very impressed when I came to this rural market, because the airy space and the image of rice fields reminded me of my childhood. In particular, the dishes here are simple but extremely attractive." Mr. Nhat shared.

The first time she came to An Nhut rural market, Ms. Tran Thi Thu (54 years old, residing in Chau Duc district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) said that the rural market reminded her of childhood memories when she often went to the market with her mother in the village. .

“I really enjoyed experiencing this rural market, it evoked many memories in me. The sellers here are very close, the food and drinks are rustic and delicious. I will definitely come back and introduce them to my friends to experience." Mrs. Thu said.

The dishes sold at An Nhut rural market are all made by the people themselves. Most of the small traders trading here are local people, in difficult circumstances or have lost their jobs. The shops are bamboo huts with simple thatched roofs with a few tables and plastic chairs displayed on the side of the road.

Mr. Nguyen Tuong Thanh, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Nhut commune, said that the rural market was formed from the idea of ​​​​creating jobs for local people who have encountered difficulties and lost their jobs before the Lunar New Year. . An Nhut Market is also expected to contribute to creating a highlight to attract tourists, help develop the rural economy and promote local image.

After nearly 2 months of operation, An Nhut market has become more and more popular with people, each session attracting from 800 - 1,000 visitors/day. Especially on weekends, the number of visitors coming to experience is even larger.

To ensure hygiene, An Nhut commune authorities arrange many garbage bags along the route for convenient collection after the end of the market.

“We regularly propagate, advocate and require food and drink businesses to ensure food hygiene and safety, organize waste collection, and maintain environmental hygiene. In the long term, the locality is considering supporting electricity and water supply to serve business households and tourists coming to experience the nightlife," Mr. Thanh shared.
