THIEN HUU THIAN MOTHER

According to the legend recorded in the stone stele placed in the temple, she was born in the early Song Dynasty (960 AD), the 6th child of the Lam family in Bo Dien district, Fujian province, China. When she was born in her mother's womb, she radiated aura and fragrance. Growing up, Grandma used to ride a carpet to fly over the sea and travel to many places. In the fourth year of Song Ung Hy's reign (C. 987), at the age of 27, she left the earthly world and manifested herself. During the Nguyen Dynasty, she was named Thien Phi, in the Qing Dynasty, King Khang Hy Gia made Thien Hau. And the title of Thien Hau exists to this day.

From folklore, it was transformed into a belief and she was worshiped in many places by generations after her. Compared to the above-mentioned stele with some legends about her in other temples, there are some differences, but in general they all praise and worship her as a virtuous, filial, self-sacrificing woman. saving people and when dying epiphany, was conferred by the Chinese feudal dynasties. HISTORY OF THE FORMATION OF THE FIRE

The pagoda was built in the mid-nineteenth century, at first the pagoda was located at Huong Chu Hieu canal (now rebuilt on the original location of the past). The ancients were influenced by the folk concept that the construction site of Ba Temple often followed the principle of model palace architecture, that is, always carried the female element in construction, one of the female factors is that the shrine should choose a place. near rivers, streams, ponds, lakes... that is, near water, because water has a negative, feminine element.

In 1923, four Chinese states (Cantonese, Chaozhou, Fujian and He) joined forces to recreate and move the temple to its present position.

ABOUT ARCHITECTURE, WORLDWIDE, DECORATION, INTERIOR

The entire temple is built in the form of a triangle, consisting of three rows of houses.

In the courtyard of the temple, in front of the main hall, there is a large peak for those who come to worship and plant incense.

The roof in front of the main hall is covered with yin and yang tiles with embossed lines, decorated with two dragon paintings, and carp turning into dragons. The two sides of the roof border are the statue of "Madame Moon", the statues of mandarins, martial arts ... most typical of yin and yang and are also typical of Chinese architecture.

In the middle,   above the main hall door is marked with three words "Thien Hau Cung, on both sides of the door are two pairs of couplets praising her merits:

In the main hall, there are many pairs of opposites hanging, the content of the pairs is praising her merit and magic in saving the world, moreover, she is the goddess who protects people going to sea, so most Both pairs mentioned images related to the sea and the wish for calm waves and calm waters.

At the main palace, worship the main god, Thien Hau Thanh Mau, the statue has a solemn crown and is usually renewed every year, or every two or three years. To the left of the shrine of Ba is the temple to worship the Ngu Hanh Niang. The right side worships the deity, called the head of the public.

On both sides of the wall, there is a signboard with the title Tuc Tinh - Hoi Ti, to call on people to be dignified or to avoid whenever there is a procession of Mrs. The second pair of signs is Thien Hau Nguyen Quan (the god who is in charge of money). The pairs of signs are arranged in order in worship as well as in the procession of the grandmother.

In the hall, there is also a display of the bowl of buu, which is the eight treasures of the eight fairies according to Chinese legends.

Two blocks of houses on either side of the main hall have the words "Seven palaces, offices" inscribed at the door, which are places of work, meeting and storage. Therefore, inside the right side are written words such as: "Friendship" (going all the way to the right side), "Things, Justice" (everything is righteous). On the left is written: "Due ceremony, Thu Chief" (follow the ceremony, keep the main thing), "Quang Noi" (widely inside), these brief words are like slogans reminding everyone.

In general, in addition to the architecture and worship, Chinese temples and shrines also have other features such as incense sticks and lanterns with Chinese characters hanging a lot.

Ba Pagoda Festival is considered the largest cultural festival in Binh Duong province, held regularly every year on 3 days from the 13th to the 15th day of the 1st lunar month with many special festival programs: worshiping ceremony. Grandma, auction of lanterns, procession of Mrs.
