One of the most beautiful temples in Vietnam is Buu Long Pagoda in the city. Ho Chi Minh City, voted by American magazine - National Geographic as one of the 10 temples with the most beautiful Buddhist architecture in the world in 2019.

Buu Long Ancestral Zen Monastery is located on Nguyen Xien Street, District 9, East of Ho Chi Minh City (about 20km from the city center), people here often call the temple Buu Long for short. In 1942, the temple was officially built, and in 2007 it was restored.

The total area of ​​the temple is about 11 hectares with many green trees covering it, helping the space inside here to be fresh and pure. The design of the pagoda also makes many people overwhelmed with its architecture that perfectly blends different cultures from the reign of Lord Nguyen Vietnam to Thailand, India, Myanmar...

The most notable point at Buu Long Pagoda is the high-rise buildings with sharp gilded tops, meticulously painted with gold, creating a solemn and unique look. Next to it is the Gotama Cetiya tower, a project known as the largest stupa in Vietnam, 70m high, more than 2000m2 wide, built during restoration in 2007 and completed in 2013.

In addition, this is also a temple without incense and smoke. When coming to the temple, visitors only need to be sincere and dress seriously, without needing to bring offerings or incense.

Ho Chi Minh City, Buu Long Zen Monastery is a place not to be missed. The temple's opening hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day. During the lunch hour from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., visitors can only visit outside and cannot enter the temple.
