Hon Khoai is the name of a cluster of islands located in the southeast of Ca Mau cape in Tan An commune, Ngoc Hien district, Ca Mau province. Hon Khoai is more than 6 nautical miles (14.6 km) from the mainland and has an important position in terms of national defense and security. This place is likened to a forward station guarding the airspace, the sea and the southwestern strip of the country.
