This bridge is located on National Highway 12, section Km66-102, with an address in Muong Lay town, Dien Bien province. The bridge connects the two provinces of Lai Chau and Dien Bien on the upstream side of the Da River. Dubbed as the most difficult concrete bridge to build in Vietnam, partly because of its too high height and the construction process between the rugged Northwest mountains and forests. To transport stone from Son La province built this bridge up to hundreds of kilometers. Not only that, the construction site faced many difficulties with extremely difficult terrain. Therefore, this bridge was built successfully because of the enthusiasm of many people and has great significance to the people of the Northwest.
