Long Bien Bridge (formerly known as Paul Doumer Bridge) is a bridge across the Red River that connects Hoan Kiem District, Ba Dinh District with Hanoi's Long Bien District. The bridge was built from 1898 to 1902 by the Daydé & Pillé company, and was used in 1903. Currently, on the bridgehead, there is still a metal plate engraved with the time of construction and construction contractor: 1899 - 1902 - Dayde & Pillé - Paris.
