Hundreds of thousands of cherry apricot trees bloom, dyeing the roads, garden corners, forest corners... in Mang Den pink, creating a poetic scene, attracting tourists from all over.

According to Mr. Pham Van Thang - Vice Chairman of Kon Plong District People's Committee, according to the policy of the Provincial Party Standing Committee from now until 2025, Kon Plong district will build and mobilize to plant 1 million cherry blossom trees. According to statistics, Kon Plong currently has about 300,000 trees.

Especially at the end of the year, the plateau becomes even more poetic, becoming an ideal destination for tourists because thousands of cherry apricot trees "race each other" to bloom.

Under the cold weather, in the days approaching the Lunar New Year Giap Thin 2024, crowds of people from all provinces and cities flock to Mang Den to admire the blooming cherry blossoms, dyeing the Mang Den mountains and forests pink.

To admire the cherry blossoms, visitors can go to a number of places in the land of Mang Den - the place known as the "second Da Lat" such as: Mang Den Central Park, Dak Ke Lake, Dam Bri Lake, Bell Tower, along Highway 24, Pa Sy waterfall, 37-household area...

Cherry apricot blossoms have 5 gracefully arranged petals like wild peach blossoms, but the color covering the petals is not the yellow of the apricot but a gentle pink color, highlighted by the dark red color of the pistil in the middle. As a tree that lives in temperate climates, cherry apricot needs low enough temperatures to flower. According to the normal growth cycle, at the end of autumn the tree will lose all its leaves, then "hibernate" for about 2 weeks before blooming. Cherry blossoms will bloom within 15-20 days. The Bell Tower (Mang Den town) is filled with cherry blossoms

Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai (tourist from Ho Chi Minh City) said: "Even though I have been to Mang Den many times, this is the first time I have personally admired the beauty of cherry blossoms. This flower is really very beautiful. Nearly all the roads in Mang Den town are covered with pink cherry blossoms, so visitors can enjoy virtual life. Not only do I like the poetic scenery here, I also like the temperate and cool climate of this land. This is truly the ideal destination for any long-term vacation. I will stay here for a few more days, trying to go to all the famous tourist spots of Mang Den."

And Hoang Lan Anh (from Pleiku City, Gia Lai) shared: "It seems like every year I come to Mang Den to check out and enjoy the brilliant and graceful beauty of cherry blossoms. This year I see the flowers blooming later than usual, however at this time the flowers have almost all bloomed with only a few scattered plants left. Because the flowers only bloom for about 20 days, those who want to enjoy and immerse themselves in the fullest color of the flowers should quickly arrange a time to come to Mang Den."

According to records, this year's flower season is considered to be later than every year, many trees along Pham Van Dong street (Mang Den town) are even only blooming sporadically. Cherry blossoms are also considered a flower that announces spring, sends off the old year, and symbolizes the coming of spring. In particular, the flowers only bloom for about two weeks when exposed to dry, cold weather. However, if it rains, the flower season only lasts about a week. There are two most suitable time frames to photograph cherry blossoms: early morning and before sunset. Because this is when the sun is low, the sunlight shines on the flowers, highlighting the pink color, making the flowers more sparkling
