O Quy Ho Pass attracts many backpackers to experience it
"King" of passes in the Northwest
O Quy Ho Pass runs along the side of Hoang Lien mountain range, connecting Lao Cai and Lai Chau provinces, so it is also called Hoang Lien pass or Sa Pa pass. But the most famous is still the name O Quy Ho.
The pass is located on National Highway 4D, and is one of the "four great passes" in the Northwest region with a peak of 2,073m and a length of more than 50km. With its height, danger and length, O Quy Ho Pass is known as the "king" of passes in the Northwest. In particular, in 2013, Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings) officially recognized the record of O Quy Ho as the longest pass in Vietnam.
