(VTC News) - Ganh Da Dia (Phu Yen) is made up of shiny black prismatic rocks, stacked on top of each other in a spectacular, majestic way like a surreal painting.
Ghenh Da Dia (Ghenh Da Dia) is located in An Ninh Dong commune, Tuy An district, about 35 km north of Tuy Hoa city center. With a unique structure, this is considered a magnificent masterpiece of stone that nature bestowed on Phu Yen.
According to scientists, the rocks at Da Dia Reef are basalt rocks formed during volcanic activity in the Van Hoa plateau nearly 200 million years ago. The hot lava flow meets the cold sea and freezes, along with the phenomenon of stress migration, causing the entire lava block to crack multi-dimensionally, creating today's amazing landscape.
From above, one can see the sea reclamation area with hexagonal-shaped stone blocks, tightly attached to each other like a giant, regular piece of beeswax, creating a solid whole with glossy black color.
Most rocks crack along longitudinal veins, forming vertical or oblique columns. There are also horizontal lines that cut stone columns into different shapes.
Going deep down the cliff, we came across a cave deep into the foot of the mountain, filled with white foam.
Ganh Da Dia is like a work of art created by the hands of nature. In recent years, this place has been visited and checked in by many domestic and foreign tourists.
Ganh Da Dia also attracts viewers because of the colors that change according to sunlight. When dawn comes, you will see the pure black color of the stone discs. And when afternoon falls, the red sunset dyes the rocks pink.
Located close to the beach, the beauty of Da Dia Reef seems to be increased many times over with a poetic seascape of harmonious sky and sea colors.
With geological and historical values, Ganh Da Dia was recognized as a Special National Monument according to Decision No. 2280/QD-TTg dated December 31, 2020 of the Prime Minister.
Recently, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha just signed Decision No. 1570/QD-TTg approving the task of planning to preserve, repair and restore the special national scenic spot Ganh Da Dia until 2030. , vision to 2050.
