Hua mountain stork forest

Hua mountain stork forest in Dai Binh commune, Dam Ha district is home to thousands of white storks. Storks flutter across the clear blue sky, and below are green fields, bringing a peaceful beauty to this land. Hua mountain stork forest, about 10km from the center of Dam Ha district, is an archaeological relic, where many stone tools of ancient Vietnamese people were discovered, and is also home to a large flock of storks. When the first households came to reclaim land and set up villages in this land of Lang Ruong in the 70s of the last century, white storks sporadically flew in small flocks. Since then, storks have flocked to this area in increasing numbers and have become the largest flock of storks today. Right from those days, families in Lang Ruong were conscious not to hunt storks, but tried to preserve the habitat for storks, so that the village could be peaceful and peaceful. Up to now, there are many different types of storks here, such as flying storks, small storks, gray dwarf storks, small storks... Hua mountain stork forest is the living area of storks divided into 3 floors. The top floor has tall treetops where storks park and stop. The middle layer is the tree branches where storks make their nests. The bottom layer is the branches close to the ground, where little storks learn to fly and forage. In the summer, storks enter their breeding and development season, and the stork forest space becomes bustling, especially in the early morning and evening. Therefore, summer is also a suitable time to visit the stork forest and admire the wild natural beauty. If you visit the stork forest in winter, you can discover many interesting things. At the foot of Mount Hua, there still exist archaeological relics with the original elements of the relic almost intact, with unique types of artifacts, especially two-headed pointed tools. This is the only type of tool discovered at Hua Mountain so far. Hua Mountain is also a revolutionary base, where the first Communist Party cell of Dam Ha district was established. In 2012, archaeological, historical and scenic relics of Hua Mountain were recognized as provincial-level relics. From the foot of Hua Mountain, there is a walking path with 459 steps for visitors to move to the Hua Mountain flagpole project. Standing at the flagpole, visitors can have a panoramic view of a vast mountainous area and enjoy watching flocks of pure white storks flying high in the sky. To get to Hua mountain stork forest, visitors travel by road to Dam Ha district, turn into Dai Binh commune, then ask for directions to Lang Ruong village, at the foot of Hua mountain. Or visitors can stop at the district central post office and then travel by motorbike taxi or taxi to reach the stork forest. If you return to Dam Ha, come to the stork forest of Mount Hua, admire the poetic natural picture with thousands of white stork wings flying against the blue background of the sky and the vast fields of Lang Ruong village!
