Ma Phuc Pass is also a unique geological heritage site of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Global Geopark recognized by UNESCO.

Ma Phuc Pass belongs to Quoc Toan commune, Tra Linh district, is the boundary between Hoa An and Tra Linh districts, located 22 km from Cao Bang.

Ma Phuc Pass is 3.5 km long, about 700 m above sea level. The pass is winding, winding along the limestone mountain slopes. From the foot of the pass to the top of the pass, there are up to 7 levels of steep slopes.

Ma Phuc Pass is a unique road, the gateway to the eastern districts of Cao Bang province. One side of the pass is a towering cliff, the other side is a deep abyss with narrow ravines.

It is the ruggedness that creates the unique excitement here. Everyone who goes to the pass knows the story of the brave man Nung Tri Cao - a man who belongs to the history and history of the Nung people in this noble frontier location.

Crossing Ma Phuc Pass, you cannot be overwhelmed by the extremely majestic natural landscape with both rice and trees but also undulating, overlapping mountains.

Each season at the pass has a different beauty. In the summer, visitors will see the green color of the corn valleys. At the end of winter and early spring, the whole valley is filled with the pink and purple colors of buckwheat flowers.

Even in one day, the pass scene appears with many colors. Early in the morning, when dawn broke, the pass was dim in an illusory mist. And when the sun rises, the clouds disperse and the fog gradually dissipates, the pass becomes bright and full of life.
