Pac Bo-Cao Bang special national relic site

Pac Bo historical site is located in Truong Ha commune, Ha Quang district, Cao Bang province. This is the place that used to be associated with Uncle Ho's activities during the early period of returning to the Fatherland to lead the Revolution (1941 - 1945).

In early 1941, Nguyen Ai Quoc and 5 comrades returned home and stayed at Mr. Ly Quoc Gun's house, then moved into the cave. Coc Bo, Lung Lan cave and Khuoi Nam shack. Here, from May 10 to 19, 1941, the 8th Central Party Conference took place. The conference clearly identified the situation in the country and the world, decided to establish the Viet Minh Front, build building revolutionary bases, developing guerrilla warfare, armed uprisings to seize power throughout the country. And, also at Khuoi Nam II shack, Uncle established the Independent Vietnam Newspaper. On December 22, 1944, in Tran Hung Dao forest, the Vietnam Propaganda and Liberation Army Team was established, consisting of 34 soldiers, under the command of Comrade Vo Nguyen Giap. During this period, Uncle Ho compiled many documents such as: History of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Guerrilla warfare, the Party Charter, Women for National Salvation, Fathers for National Salvation, Youth for National Salvation, and especially the border Composing a letter to the compatriots (June 6, 1941), calling on the whole people to unite to fight the common enemy of the French colonialists, Japanese fascists and Vietnamese frauds, to gain independence and freedom. On May 4, 1945, Uncle Ho and a delegation of cadres left Pac Bo to Tan Trao (Tuyen Quang) to direct and rally the nation to participate in a general uprising to seize power in the whole country, giving birth to a people's Vietnam. Republic (September 2, 1945), now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. 

According to the “Master Plan of Monuments” approved by the Prime Minister, Pac Bo relic includes: 

1. The cluster of relics of the watershed area 

- Hang Coc Bo (in Nung means "watershed") is about 80m2 wide, the entrance of the cave is only for one person to walk. This is where Uncle Ho and his revolutionary cadres lived from February 8, 1941 to mid-March 1941. In the cave, there is still a set of tables and chairs where Uncle used to sit and work with revolutionary cadres and Translate important documents. 

- The floor of Mr. Ly Quoc Gun's house: is the house Uncle Ho lived in when he first returned to the country to direct the revolution (from January 28 to February 7, 1941). This house was built around 1937, in the style of a local stilt house. 

- Lung Lan Cave: is where Uncle Ho lived and worked in late March 1941. The cave is about 50m2. 

- Nguom Vai Cave: here, in 1941, Uncle directly attended and guided and admitted to the Party for Comrade Nong Thi Trung. The cave is about 80m2 wide. 

- Lenin Stream: During the time in Pac Bo, Uncle often sat fishing in this stream. Up to now, the relic still retains the relatively intact landscape.

- The foundation of Mr. La Thanh's house: was an important revolutionary base in the pre-insurrection period. This is the place to welcome the national delegates to attend the 8th Party Central Committee Conference. Currently, only the old house floor remains, with an area of ​​131m2, which has been planted with steles to introduce the relic. 

- Milestone 108: now landmark number 675, is one of 314 ancient Vietnam-China border landmarks, made of monolithic, oval stone, about 70cm high, above engraved with Chinese text. and French. 

- Gooc Mu field: originally a hamlet in Pac Bo village; After implementing the policy of re-planning residential areas to establish agricultural cooperatives, Gooc Mu hamlet was moved to Pac Bo center. At the Gooc Mu site, in 1940, the people of Pac Bo village used to come here to cut blood and swear, vowing to follow the revolution for the rest of their lives.

2. Souvenir spots in the central area 

- Ho Chi Minh memorial house and square yard: built according to the model of ethnic stilt houses, located on Linh Son mountain range, in Pac Bo relic area, inaugurated in 2011. 

- Na Chang field: with an area of ​​​​about 5000m2, is the meeting place to welcome President Ho Chi Minh to visit and talk with the people of Pac Bo on February 20, 1961. 

- Works: exhibition house, reception house. 

3. Kim Dong relic cluster 

- Kim Dong Tomb: located at the foot of Teo Lai mountain, in Na Ma village. Currently, the entire area is surrounded by a fence. To the left of Kim Dong's grave is the grave of Kim Dong's mother, behind is a statue of Kim Dong and an art wall, representing the meaning of the 14 springs of Kim Dong. 

- Noc En Cave: located in the Phia Dai and Phia U mountains, behind Na Ma village. At this location, in August 1942, Kim Dong was assigned by Uncle Ho to communicate and protect the revolution. 

- Po Doi - Thoong Ma: is the place where the National Salvation Children's Team was established (May 15, 1941), led by Kim Dong. Currently, the relic has been built by the Cao Bang Provincial Youth Union to mark the establishment of the National Salvation Children's Team and register its members. 

4. Bo Bam relic cluster 

- Mr. Duong Van Dinh's house: is the place where President Ho Chi Minh often talks, about the people's life, the suffering of the people who lost their country, and propagated the revolution. 

- Mount Mac, Lenin stream, Dau Ho cave: where Cao Bang people held a memorial ceremony for Uncle (September 1969). 

5. Khuoi Nam relic cluster 

- Lan Khuoi Nam: is where Uncle Ho stayed the longest. In addition, to ensure Uncle Ho's safety, the comrades and officers worked two more shacks for him (Khuoi Nam II and III shacks). Khuoi Nam shack has a very favorable location, located right at the door of the forest, covered, can not be seen from the outside, but it is very clear from the inside, when there is movement, you can retreat, vice versa. Khuoi Nam stream passed the 109 mark to China safely. The shack is built in the style of an ethnic stilt house, with 2 small compartments, with an area of ​​​​about 12m2. The current shack has only recently been restored. 

- Sli Dinh and Diem Tieu caves: are places used by Uncle Ho as secret mailboxes, in the period 1941 - 1945. 

With the special historical, cultural and scientific values ​​of the relic site, date On May 10, 2012, the Prime Minister decided to rank Pac Bo Historic Site as a special National Monument (Decision No. 548/QD-TTg).
