Ankroet Hydropower Plant is located deep in the Dankia valley - Suoi Vang, in the mountainous area in Lac Duong district, Lam Dong.
According to Da Lat Geography, Ankroet hydropower plant is "Vietnam's first hydroelectric power plant, which was started in October 1942 and inaugurated in 1945", officially generating electricity in 1946. This is also the factory. The first hydroelectric power plant in Indochina.
