On May 19, 1998, on the 108th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh, the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue was officially rebuilt and inaugurated on May 19, 2000. 2007 , Thua Thien Hue Ho Chi Minh Museum was ranked as a class II museum on September 27, 2007 by the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province.
