Khuoi Ky stone village is more than 400 years old, formed when the Mac dynasty fled to Cao Bang and remained here until it was destroyed around 1594-1677. When the Mac dynasty went to Cao Bang to build defensive structures, stone houses were built like "fortresses". Not only military in nature, each house has unique architectural features. , very unique, tinged with legend and antiquity.
Through history, up to now the stone stilt houses in Khuoi Ky still retain their pristine beauty, creating an ancient look for the border village.
The village has 14 Tay ethnic households living, its back is firmly against the mountain on an area of about 10,000 m². In front of the village is the peaceful Khuoi Ky stream. The stilt house for the Tay people in Trung Khanh is a sacred place that preserves the characteristics of traditional material and spiritual life over many generations.
