Ho Guom Theater has a scale of 5,000m2, invested and built by the Ministry of Public Security and Hanoi City in a prime location just a few hundred meters from Sword Lake (40 Hang Bai, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi).

The theater is located at the intersection of 4 major streets in the center of Hanoi, will be a new cultural point connecting with cultural works, historical sites, thousand-year-old architectural landscapes, forming a cultural complex. arts and entertainment around Hoan Kiem Lake.

Despite being started construction during the Covid-19 pandemic, the project was completed "quickly" in just 22 months.

The theater features 52 stone columns (each 18m high) brought from Spain, creating a bold European beauty and a combination of details imbued with Vietnamese culture such as bronze drum motifs. Dong Son, crane patterns, ethnic musical instruments or images of golden turtles exchanging swords...

The theater is divided into 6 areas: the large hall and the small front hall serving to welcome guests; Vertical traffic core: facilitate easy movement; The large auditorium can accommodate 900 guests and the small auditorium can accommodate 500 guests; Backstage area: actor lobby, sub-stage, practice room, props warehouse, office area; Parking garage for guests and employees; Multi-purpose space, break room, cafe and garden on the 6th floor.

Ho Guom Theater is impressed by its neoclassical architectural style. Architect Ho Thieu Tri's office has come up with a plan to design the theater in harmony with the architecture and natural landscape of Hoan Kiem lake area.

The main hall of Ho Guom Theater is inspired by the starry night sky.

Ho Guom Theater is invested with a modern technical infrastructure system, applying leading technology in the world in terms of sound, light, stage decoration, etc.

The large auditorium space has decorative lines stylized from the image of rice - the image in the familiar logo of the Vietnam People's Police force.

The theater is capable of meeting a variety of performance requirements of many different art forms, from opera, chamber symphony, musicals, ballet - dance, to modern music performance programs, festivals. Workshop, TV show...

The lighting of Ho Guom theater meets a variety of different art forms, including the following systems: light to shine on the stage, light to follow actors, light to create an artistic scene .

The performance sound system at Ho Guom Theater includes Array speakers and Constellation speakers. In particular, the Constellation speaker system uses an array of sensor microphones around the auditorium and the stage shell area, a sophisticated digital signal processor and a "world-class" speaker system.

The reception area is reserved for VIP guests before or after the show, with unique dishes and drinks made and processed individually according to the theme of each show.
