According to the New Hanoi Electronic Newspaper, the history of the pagoda was built around 1130, as a place to worship Buddha and the ancestor Mother Ngau. Photo: Vuong Loc
In 1762, the pagoda was restored by an elder of the Le dynasty. To pay tribute to that merit, the villagers worshiped him and named the pagoda Quoc Lao Hung Long self. Photo: Vuong Loc
