Formed in the early 20th century, Hang Luoc flower market is considered the oldest flower market in Hanoi. Usually open from the 15th to the 30th of December, Hang Luoc flower market not only attracts a large number of people from the Capital to shop but is also a destination that attracts domestic and foreign tourists every Tet holiday.

Many customers go to the market to buy peaches to take home. According to the survey, the prices of peaches and kumquats this year are similar to last year. However, many sellers often charge higher prices. If customers know how to negotiate, each branch will be reduced from 100,000 to 500,000 VND, depending on the type.
Peach branches are continuously transported to the market for traders to sell after the old quantity has been consumed.
Mr. Thanh Quang and his wife, Ms. Xuan Linh, went to buy small peach branches to put on the altar. He said, initially the seller said the price was 300,000 VND/branch (in hand), after bargaining, the two of them were able to buy it for 220,000 VND. After that, they looked to buy two small kumquat trees, each costing from 80,000 - 120,000 VND.
Not only peach, apricot and kumquat flowers, Hang Luoc market also has many shops selling silk flowers and artificial flowers of all shapes and sizes. The sellers today were quite busy cleaning and decorating the flower baskets.
