This buckwheat flower garden belongs to Ms. Tran Thi Tuyet's family (Ko village, Chu Dang Ya commune). As a local tour guide, Ms. Tuyet always worries about how to make her homeland attract more tourists. In 2018, she joined a motorbike taxi team to transport tourists to the top of Chu Dang Ya mountain to visit and experience. In 2022, with the desire to enrich the landscape at the foot of the mountain, she planted a butterfly flower garden for tourists to take check-in photos.

This flower garden has attracted a large number of visitors, but Ms. Tuyet still wants to innovate to make the garden more impressive and beautiful. In early August 2023, she started growing buckwheat flowers, a famous flower loved by tourists in the northern mountains. “Gia Lai also has some people growing buckwheat flowers. The flowers are also very beautiful but do not have the majestic mountain scenery like the Northwest. This year, I chose buckwheat flowers to create something new and attractive to people and tourists."

Ms. Tuyet looked to buy Northwest buckwheat seeds to sow in 2 areas with different blooming times, of which the largest garden has an area of ​​about 4 acres. To add a highlight to the flower garden, she and her husband created the Olympic symbol with 5 circles. The weather is favorable so the trees grow and develop well. Currently, the buckwheat flower garden has begun to bloom. The delicate, white petals mixed with light pink create a poetic scene amidst the vast mountains and hills.

“After finding out when the tree blooms and when the wild sunflower festival is held, I calculated the balance of the area so that when the wild sunflowers begin to fade, visitors will not be disappointed because there are buckwheat flowers. . Currently, the garden is charging a check-in photo ticket of 20,000 VND/person, mainly to offset the costs of seeds, planting, and care" - Ms. Tuyet confided.

On this occasion in Chu Dang Ya, wild sunflowers have just begun to bloom. In addition, there is a buckwheat flower garden. The garden is quite large and beautiful, the path is convenient, especially located right at the foot of the mountain. When taking photos, the view of the volcano is no different from being in the Northwest."

Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong (Ho Chi Minh City) enthusiastically said: "On a business trip to Gia Lai, I stopped by Chu Dang Ya volcano to visit. Although the wild sunflowers have not yet bloomed, the volcano still has its own unique beauty with majestic scenery. Especially there is the buckwheat flower garden. I really like this flower because it is small and pure, typical of the Northwest. Unexpectedly, buckwheat can also be grown here, the flowers are very beautiful."
