Sa Dec rice noodle soup is not only attractive in color in appearance but also in its unique and distinct taste. And This flavor is created by the combination of two main ingredients, noodles and strong broth. The noodles are made from Sa Dec rice flour, and have milky white, large and soft fibers, moderate toughness without being friable, and no sour taste.

The bowl of rice noodle soup is hot, smelling of meat, shrimp, liver, small intestines of pork and fresh chive leaves. When served with fresh vegetables such as edible lettuce and herbs, it enhances the unique flavor of Sa Dec rice noodle soup, making diners even more delicious.

Sa Dec rice noodle soup is known for its traditional rice flour making profession, which has been practiced for over 100 years in the Tan Phu Dong commune. This local product, known as Sa Dec rice flour, is highly sought after and has been exported abroad since before 1975. It is a key ingredient in popular dishes such as pho, noodles, and instant noodles. The rice noodles made from Sa Dec rice flour are not only visually appealing, but also have a delicious taste. They are known for their white color, smooth texture while still maintaining a soft and firm consistency.

The main advantage of this location is its abundant supply of water from the Tien River, which is free from contamination by alum or brackishness. This makes it highly convenient for producing rice flour and making noodles. However, not all areas have access to such clean water. In order to maintain the freshness and deliciousness of their products, shop owners only use freshly made rice noodles during the day and do not use them for the following day.
