Thien Vien Truc Lam Chanh Giac is located in Ap 1, Thanh Tan Commune, Tan Phuoc District, Tien Giang Province. Constructed in 2012, it follows the traditional architectural style of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect and is part of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha. Since its inauguration, the monastery has not only served as a center for Buddhist practice but also as a key tourist attraction, significantly contributing to the transformation of the once-impoverished Thanh Tan Commune.
From Tien Giang's central area, visitors can reach the monastery by heading from Nga Ba Trung Luong on National Highway 1A, moving westward for about 6 kilometers to Long Dinh, then proceeding to My Phuoc Town in Tan Phuoc District. Continue for another 10 kilometers to reach Thien Vien Truc Lam Chanh Giac. Along the way, there are numerous signposts directing visitors to the monastery, making the journey straightforward and convenient.

The construction of this grand temple was a collective effort involving many dedicated Buddhist practitioners. The monastery spans an impressive 50 hectares, with a vast campus featuring ancient trees and enormous stone boulders.
Thien Vien Truc Lam Chanh Giac comprises two distinct areas: the inner and outer sanctuaries. The outer sanctuary includes several key structures: the Main Hall, the Ancestral Hall, the Meditation Hall, the Lecture Hall, the Library, the Exhibition House, and the Bell Tower, covering more than 47,000 square meters. The Main Hall alone can accommodate over 3,000 people.

A highlight of the monastery is the statue of Buddha Shakyamuni, crafted from jade and gold leaf. Standing 4.5 meters tall and weighing over 30 tons, this magnificent statue was meticulously created by artisans from Myanmar.
